How To Request Deletion

Email admin@thehedgebook.com from the Google account email used to sign in to The Hedge Book. The subject is prefilled as Account deletion request. If you cannot email from that account, include enough information for us to verify account ownership before deletion.

Data We Delete

After verification, we delete or anonymize your The Hedge Book account record, Google sign-in profile data stored by The Hedge Book, followed stocks, community votes tied to your account, notification preferences, manually entered portfolio holdings, broker support requests, and app activity records associated with your account where technically feasible.

Data We May Keep

We may retain limited records when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, abuse prevention, backup recovery, or financial/accounting obligations. Retained records are limited to what is necessary and are not used to personalize the product after deletion.

Timing

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Backup copies may take additional time to age out of routine backup systems.

Important

The Hedge Book does not store broker usernames, broker passwords, trading credentials, or order-entry access.
